Hello! Happy Thursday! I will not keep you long today!!! The week is almost over and its a holiday weekend!!!! Do you have any big plans to kick off the end of summer (other than rolling up into a ball and weeping for hours… I love summer! ๐ฉ). We do not have any big plans, other than Baby Watch 2015. Well, since majority of the school systems went back to school, I started back with daughter and our home schooling. It is a lil harder for her to her back in the swing, but we will get there soon. However, I still try to take her to activities out of the house (which has turned into a huge accomplishment for me at 38.5 weeks). Like an awesome day at the National Building Museum (I ๐ DC!)
And this leads me to my quick tip for being cheap lol.
So, when we are travelling to all of our wild adventures, I am developing some methods to keep her entertained while in the car. I used to just constantly feed her or have her watch some tv (๐), which is not my favorite option. Lately, I have been letting her color in a coloring book, while we ride and it keeps her pretty much quiet and entertained! But sometimes the page turns and her dexterity is not that awesome to hold the page down and color at the same time in a moving vehicle, which leads me to my quick tip. I have started collecting resturant coloring sheets lol. On the occasions that we go out to eat, I just request anothet coloring sheet “for me to play with” and just tuck it away in the diaper bag (and of course I save the crayons too lol). And wa-la, you have a free coloring book. You can use them way more places than the car to keep your little one quiet! Does anyone else do this? What other freebies have you found? Hope that helps.
