One Month and An Anniversary….

Hey! Hey! Hey! How is everybody doing this wonderful Tuesday? I am doing quite well. I will get to the specifics later, but first I should mention a milestone for my blog! This past Sunday marked one whole month since I started my blog. I know that does not seem like a huge deal to you BUT it is HUGE DEAL to me! ONE WHOLE MONTH! That is amazing! In one short month, I think I have come a long way. I have accomplished way more than I could have imagined in this short month. I have had people from various countries click on my blog (which is still mindbogglingly to me…lol). People that have never met me have been gracious enough to read my blog, share it, and comment! And of course, all of the support of my family and friends have been outstanding! Everyone has been very supportive and actually very receptive! This past month has been a true blessing! So, I just want to say THANKS AGAIN!

However, there is a way MORE SPECIAL MILESTONE that I am celebrating today! And that is my WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!! My Navy guy and I are celebrating 3 wonderful years today!! (Here are some pictures from our wedding, we might have changed in appearance over the last 3 years lol).

Given that I am highly irritable, slightly crazy, and all together a pain in the ARSE (#PregnancyProblems) to be around, we decided not to do anything TOO STRENUOUS this year. Also, being on baby watch doesn’t help with a beach trip, which is what we did last year. And of course, we did not plan a beach trip this year and our anniversary is typically over Labor Day weekend, but this year we could have saved money at the beach and not pay inflated prices, we can’t go! But it’s all good. Next year we will have two blessings to accompany us to the beach! That should be pretty amazing. Our lil firecracker LOVED the beach last summer and is really a water kid, so next year the beach will be awesome. How do you spend your wedding anniversaries? Do you spend it as a couple? With the kids? Do you even celebrate at all? Do you exchange gifts? Do you follow the etiquette list of gifts that you are supposed to give? Like this being our 3rd year, I would either give him a gift that incorporates leather or crystal. Do you stick with this tradition or do something unique? I would be interested to find out how you celebrate not only anniversaries but any ‘milestone’ in your life. And one last thing… HELLO SEPTEMBER!
