Thanksgiving, Cricut Scrapes, and Counting

Hello & Happy Thanksgiving!! I will not keep you long because it is “Family time” but I just wanted to share an activity that is keeping my lil firecracker busy while I bake a cake today (and it matches a Fall theme 😊)

So, in preparation for Thanksgiving, I used my awesome Cricut and cut leaves for a “Giving Thanks” activity (write on the leaf what you are thankful for) and I also keep the scrapes from all of my activities. And with these scrapes, I created a counting & coloring activity.

Supplies:

  • Pre-cut cardstock pieces of paper with leaf design
  • Cardboard
  • Crayons
  • Tape

Instructions:

  • Depending on how many leaves were cut from the pieces of paper, number them.
  • Tape the pieces to a piece of cardboard (I cut up a diaper box, we have plenty now.. You can use whatever paper you would like).

  •  Had your little one some crayons and color the leaves (and make sure to review the numbers).

Enjoy! And Happy Thanksgiving!
