Dope Music for Kids- Healthy Hip Hop

Healthy Hip Hop

I have been a fan of Healthy Hip Hop since is was the first cd I bought in 2016 under Rappin Roy and Reggie Regg (click here to check that music out). And I am even more excited how they have elevated the game for children’s hip hop music.

Healthy Hip Hop is more than music. It’s a movement. Make sure to get the “Music streaming and social platform aimed at providing quality, relevant sounding hip hop for families. Download our app today on IOS (beta)”

If you are a parent looking to share Hip Hop and the culture with your children, this is the application for you. I am able to listen to Hip Hop music that has bass, rhythm, and lyrics that can go toe to toe to any Hip Hop artist today! THIS MUSIC IS NOT ONLY FOR THE KIDS! IT’S FOR THE CULTURE!

We use this application every day. I have the application on my phone (as my children do not have their own personal devices yet) and will play music everyday for a dance break after dinner or a brain break during school.

The application is very user friendly and super simple to use. My toddler finds the app on my phone and plays with it. There is a section for music. In the picture above, the yellow square is the section for all of the music and videos. The blue square is where you will find a section to take pictures and videos that can be uploaded to the application. This is my kids favorite section because there are a variety of filters that they can use to have fun while taking pictures. The video section allows you to pick a song from the catalog and make your own Healthy Hip Hop Music videos.

The green section is geared towards the school environment which will be very impactful for schools. The purple section is a safe circle section that allows user to interface with each other in a safe way over the internet.

So, I will have to warn you, that you might get a little obsessed with this app. The music is SO DOPE!

Healthy Hip Hop consists of various musician under a family friendly animal theme.

  • PJ Panda:
  • Princess Panda: my daughter’s favorite
  • Leo the Lion
  • Hop
  • JB (The Jungle Boys)
  • Rappin Roy

All of the artists are amazing and you child will find representation with this music. My oldest son really likes Leo the Lion and Princess Panda is my daughter’s personal favorite. My toddler loves PJ Panda. Currently, I am jamming to Rappin Roy’s latest album on the app and I really love their compilation album with all of the characters.

The music has themes of positive affirmations, loving yourself, doing well in school, being truthful, being a good friend, and of course NURSERY RHYMES!!

This is the app you want and also want to introduce to your school community. We need to diversify our children’s music and this app provides a platform to do that. I have already mentioned this music to my kids school, you should do the same!

Let me know what you think of the app when you download it here.

Thanks for reading!

Enjoy
