Celebrate Juneteenth + Free Printable

A few years ago, I found this cute activity on the National Museum for African American History and Culture. It was a fun way to make a Juneteenth flag for kids. Anything that involves collating and magazine, my daughter is here for it! Check out the Instagram post of her results.

This year, I decided to create a few coloring sheet that can be done alongside this fun activity or independently. This year we plan on going to a Juneteenth Parade and rocking some red, white, and blue! We have celebrated Juneteenth occasionally. It was something that I have known about in since childhood but did not really start to celebrate it until 2018. Our first family celebration was a Juneteenth festival in Hyattsville, Maryland.

Below are links to the printables. Make sure to let me know how they turn out!

Thanks for reading!

Enjoy!
